PI VerI am using version12, I am certain it can be done in earlier versions, from PIXL on up to PI12.

Path drawing tool, paint on edges, blur, path edit. burn tool, dodge tool, paint brush.

8. Baby body: Ellipse, size: 221X124, 2D, color:#F3C6C6. Go to Path Edit mode to edit the shape, see the example at left. You will have to add points.
 


9. Left arm: Ellipse, size:52x114, same color as body, 2D. Again go into path edit, to edit the shape, as left.

9A. Right Arm: Ellipse, size: 65X161, 2D, Path edit, see example at left.

10. Legs. Draw and Ellipse again size:112X101, same color, 2 D. Path edit to edit the shape like in the image at left.

This leg will be duplicated and sent to back after the shading.

 

 

 

 

11. Body shading:  select the body, using the burn tool with the settings at left. Burn around the edges, except where the leg is and don't burn the space on the left at the top between the left arm and body. See Example. Now use the blur tool with the setting at left to blur.

Send the body behind the head.
 

12. Shading the left arm. We are going to paint on edges, see the settings at left, color:#C38484, in the menu, creative, paint on edges.

Before we blur, use the paint brush, color:#F3C6C6l we will fill in a couple of spots to cover the poe, see left.

 Use the blur tool, size35, soft edge: 50, level:5, to blend.

13. Right Arm shading. same as for the left arm, use the same settings. Shown left is example of where to fill in with the paint brush and then blur.

14.Shading the leg, paint on edges, see the settings at left, color:#C38484, in the menu, creative, paint on edges.

Before we blur, use the paint brush, color:#F3C6C6l we will fill in a couple of spots to cover the poe, see left.

 Use the blur tool, size35, soft edge: 50, level:5, to blend.

Duplicate the leg and send to back, use the arrow keys to move it to the left and upward,

This is what I have so far. the image is not actual size.
 

 

 

15. Drawing gloves, right hand. ellipse, size:67X63, color: white. 3D, width: 4, Depth: 18, two lights, direct, go into path edit to edit the shape, like the image at left.

Using the shape at left, in PI 12 it is S46 for the cuff, make it size: 46X17 go into path edit to edit the shape like left.

Place it at the top of the glove.

 

16. Left glove: Draw and ellipse size:60X49, white, 3D, same settings as the right glove. Path Edit to edit the shape like the one opposite.

 

 

 

17. Glove cuff, use the same shape we used for the right glove see above, resize 34X19. path edit again, to edit the shape like the example opposite.

 

18. Foot: ellipse, size: 37X66, color: #F3C6C6, 2D, go into path edit to edit the foot like the example apposite.

 

 

18A, Paint on edges: Activate the paint brush with the settings at left, color:#AA7171 go to the menu, creative, click on Paint on edges.

18B. We need to fill in the foot part that meets the leg. Using the paint brush, with the same settings you see on the left, except change the color to:#F3C6C6 and fill in where it is marked in the image at left.Blur tool with the size: 20, soft edge:50, level: 5, blend the POE. See example at left.

 

19.Toes: Using the burn tool with the setting at left, this is to outline the toes. You can see where I used the burn tool in the example. After you have made the toes, use the blur tool with these settings, size: 10, soft edge: 50, level: 3, lightly blur.

Opposite is what I have now.

20.Banner: Ellipse, size:79X209, color, I used red, you can use any color you prefer, 2D, go into path edit and edit the shape like the example at left. Draw another ellipse,  size;164X82, same color, 2D. edit like the shape opposite, banner # 2.

20A. Draw a third ellipse size:39X25, same color, edit like the example at left. Banner #3

20B. Draw a fourth ellipse size:46X157 same color, edit the shape like the image banner #4

20C. Draw a another ellipse for banner 5, size:22X19 same color, go into path edit to edit the shape like in the example.

     

21. Finishing the banner: Activate the paint brush with the setting at left, color: #560909, select banner 1 and 4, go to menu, creative and paint on edges, use the blur tool with the settings left to blend.

21A. Select banner 3, right click and convert to image, use the burn tool to darken the entire object.

21B. Banner 2, Paint on edges, paint brush settings, same as for banner 1 and 4, except change the size to: 7 and blur with the same settings, Send banner 4 behind the head and ear, not the right arm.

21C. Banner 5 shading: Right click Convert to image, use the burn tool, same settings at left, burn this piece, to make it dark enough you may have to go over it twice. The upper edge goes behind the body and behind banner 4

 

22. The knot for the banner. Draw circle size: 15X15, edit like in the image for the knot.

22A. Draw an ellipse size:26X33, with path edit make the shape like the on opposite.

22B. Draw another ellipse size:23X22, these are all the same color as the banner. edit the shape again.

Almost finished.

23. Shading the knot, Select both knot 2 and 3 by holding down the control key, with the paint brush set with these setting:size:7, soft edge: 100,  POE. select knot #1 change to size to:5, keep all the other settings and POE this piece.

Now using the blur tool with the settings at left, blur all three pieces. See them placed together at left. I used the burn tool size 2, to make some lines in the bow parts to try to make it look as it look like it is tied, then used the blur.

The banner is all together at left.

We are finished!!!!.
