Welcome to My Little Corner in Cyberspace

She wrote this poem on her way to my Mothers funeral, on a scrap of paper!

When a man and woman marry, they marry for life,

So George asked Elizabeth to become his wife.

After a few years came three bundles of joy,

A daughter, Barbara, a daughter, Jane, and Travis, a boy.

She bathed them and fed them and gave them good care,

Elizabeth was a good mother and was always there.

Then with the grandchildren and great grandchildren,

Her life was filled with pride, because now she had them all by her side.

When she became sick and her work here was through,

God took her to Heaven, because he knew it too.

When you look upwards and see a bright star in the sky,

You'll know that Elizabeth is in Heaven sitting by Gods side.

This poem she wrote for my Dad's funeral.

When George;s wife Elizabeth died, his whole world fell apart.

They had been married a good many years, and he loved her with all his heart,

The children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will remember you with love, with tears running down their face.

They always knew that they had a good Father and Da-Da and no one could take his place,

He loved his children dearly and tried to do his best,

He knew that Elizabeth would reach out to help him,before God called him home to rest,

Now George will be happy, because he will be placed along side of his wife,

He told her by her grave each day that it won't be long until I can come to be with you in Heaven to spend Eternal Life.

Aunt Mary wrote this poem for me, on a birthday!

Some nieces are good and some are bad,

They lie and cheat and make you mad,

You are the niece that is kind and good,

You are always there to help me whenever you could,

I cannot take your Mothers place, but I'll be there for you,

Whenever I need you, your always there for me too.

So think of the good times and have a good day,

Have a happy birthday because your another year older but you can't stop, no way,

This is sent with a lot of love, that I hold in my heart,
